I figured that all of the following questions cross people's minds when they come across my blog.

♥ What kind of camera do you use?

I use the Canon EOS Rebel T3i, an early Christmas present. I want to start vlogging, for which then I will use a Canon Powershot or my camcorder.

♥ Where did you get the URL lipstickmysteries?

I came up with it because lipstick is probably my favorite part of makeup and I feel like learning about makeup is a mysterious art. The two words are also comprised of my initials, Laura Martinez.

♥ What is your favorite brand of makeup?

MAC. I absolutely love nearly all of their products. They have an infinite variety of shades and colors for nearly all of their products and their diversity is what attracts customers to their products. I also enjoy NARS, Tarte, and Benefit for some select makeup products.

♥ Where do you shop for makeup?
Honestly, I do most of my shopping online. In my city, though it is big, there aren't any actual MAC stores. They are just stands inside of a bigger department store at the mall. I can't ever really find what I am looking for when I go, unless it's a basic eye pencil or foundation. At times, they don't even carry the shade of lipstick I would like, so I shop online. For other brands, I shop at Sephora or Ulta.

♥ What are you favorite clothing brands?
I love Lauren Conrads collection and Vera Wang. I usually just go to a store and see what I like. I don't really shop for specific brands.

♥ Where do you shop for clothes?
I usually shop at Forever21, Kohls, or Loehmanns. They have exquisite clothing and change their selection seasonally.

♥ Who made your layout?

It was custom made by the absolutely lovely Becca with Vanilla Bunting Designs. I absolutely recommend her. Her prices are reasonable and her designs are fantastic!

♥ Do you have a YouTube channel?

For right now, no. I am in the process of trying to become less shy in order to start a YouTube channel, but I also just want to see how people like my blog first.
